1. Play nice, piglets.
We would prefer our game to be a happy, peppy place. If you're an asshole, you're going to ruin our vibe, ya dig? Don't be rude to your fellow players. Don't clique up and leave others out. Finish threads and tags that you start. Don't godmod. Don't corner someone into a plot they don't want to be a part of. Basically, follow that famed golden rule and don't do anything that you wouldn't want done to you.

2. Be advanced, plz.
We're not going to do a wordcount on your application or your posts; however, you should know that we expect quality from our members. If you can't string together a sentence or you think a three sentence response is an adequate post in a thread, then this may not be the place for you. And by no means do we mean to imply that you have to write a book per post - we just want our members to understand that we expect a certain level of dedication and quality from the writing.

3 No Miley or Joe or Justin etc
I mean, did you really see people wandering around who looked like this in the 1980s? We're not super picky on faces, but have some common sense when you pick your claim. You can see the taken played-bys in the icons of this journal.

4 Character Limit.
There is a four character limit. Originally, there were rules governing what kind of characters you create. For instance, you could not play Narcissa, a pureblooded female, as your first character and then pick up Bellamy Rosier, another pureblooded female. We have changed these rules because the problems we expected never arose. Therefore, there are no limitations on the type of character you create (in terms of classification or gender). However, if things get too unbalanced, a cap may be placed on certain characters (i.e. No more female filth members until...)

5 Oh, baby, baby
Pregnancies here are going to be sped up, because they get old really fast. Since we plan to have many pregnancies going at one time, it would probably get old to read 70% of threads/journals from the ladies talking about their pregnancy. Therefore, one week in game = one month of pregnancy time. So your character who just got pregnant would stay pregnant for nine weeks ingame. If your character is midpregnancy at six months, she will be pregnant for three more weeks ingame. We have no rules set about the gender of the babies unless they were already born in canon - Molly's children, Neville, Harry, Luna etc...they already exist and have genders set to them. You are free to choose the gender of your character's baby and his or her name. If we see too many girls or boys being born, we may make a rule about randomizing your baby's gender.

6 Sitewide Plots
Absolutely, and you will be notified of them via the OOC community in advance so you can figure out how you would like to be involved.

7 Let's talk about sex, baby
The fact that Voldemort is trying to force your characters to have lots of perfect pure babies sort of implies that there's going to be a lot of sex going on, right? If you want to scene that out, more power to you. HOWEVER, you absolutely must put a warning on the cut so that someone who doesn't care to read that doesn't stumble across it. Additionally, please be sensitive. Rape is a very serious issue. Not all of these men and women are going to want to be having sex with their husband or wife, so handle that carefully.

8 Activity
You are expected to participate in a thread/scene/gdoc every two weeks. Threads are expected to be completed in one week. Please do not post placeholders in the communities - they're boring and annoying. Don't post until you have something ready to post. Journals must be updated at least once a month, but we encourage you to update them much more often and to comment in others' journals too!

9 Jobs
Get creative, please. Many, many Death Eaters will be working high ranking jobs at St. Mungo's, Gringott's, Hogwarts, or the Ministry. There are all sorts of jobs you can create there. We don't need everyone to be an Auror or a professor. Tainted bloods can work anywhere, but they will have low ranking jobs. Muggleborns will not have jobs at all unless they've managed to get false identification papers and are very, very brave about going out in public.
